Ingredients

  • 1/2 glass (100 ml) of warm water
  • 2 tsp of dry yeast
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp of natural yoghurt
  • 1/4 glass (50 ml) of vegetable oil
  • 2 glasses (320 g) of flour + a little more to sprinkle the surface
  • 1/2 glass (180 g) of Oatsmith instant oatmeal
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • vegetable oil for spreading

Cooking instructions

  • 1 Mix the water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Leave for 10-15 minutes in a warm place until there is foam in the water.
  • 2 Add eggs, yogurt, and oil to the yeast mix and stir until you get a smooth liquid.
  • 3 Add the flour, oats, garlic powder, and salt to a large bowl, then stir well.
  • 4 Add the liquid ingredients to the flour mix and start making the dough with a wooden paddle. When the dough turns into a ball, put it onto a surface sprinkled with flour and beat it thoroughly.
  • 5 Then return the dough to the bowl, cover it with a towel, and leave it in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • 6 When the dough doubles in size, put it on the flour-sprinkled surface, press it down, and divide it into 6 pieces.
  • 7 Roll each piece into a thin cake about 0.5 cm thick.
  • 8 Heat a large frying pan, pour some oil on it, and fry the cakes for 1-2 minutes on each side.
